Watch: Alexander Siddig & Marisa Tomei in First 'Inescapable' Trailer

Közzétette biropsze, 2012-08-15 07:21

Inescapable

The sleeper drama Cairo Time was quite an impressive film from writer/director Ruba Nadda, even if the film didn't get that large of an audience. Now the female filmmaker is back with a promising thriller in the form of Inescapable, which basically feels like the version of Taken that would have been made in the indie film world. Alexander Siddig, Joshua Jackson and Marisa Tomei star in this thriller about a man whose daughter disappears in Damascus, forcing him to return to the country he left behind more than three decades ago. The film hits Toronto International Film Festival next month, so watch the trailer below!

Colin Farrell & Sam Rockwell in the First 'Seven Psychopaths' Trailer

Seven Psychopaths

After being announced as part the Midnight Madness line-up at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, the first trailer for Martin McDonagh's Seven Psychopaths has just arrived. The comedy from the In Bruges writer and director reunites him with actor Colin Farrell as a struggling screenwriter who inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his two oddball friends (Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell) kidnap a gangster's (Woody Harrelson) beloved Shih Tzu. This looks like another darkly, hilarious crime comedy with great work from the entire cast. Watch below!

Brad Pitt & James Gandolfini in Dominik's 'Killing Them Softly' Trailer

Killing Them Softly Trailer

"Very few guys know me..." The Weinstein Co. has unveiled the first badass trailer for Andrew Dominik's Killing Them Softly, formerly known as Cogan's Trade, a crime flick starring Brad Pitt as "professional enforcer" Jackie Cogan. This premiered at Cannes and earned plenty of praise from critics; I recommend it purely because of Dominik. Scoot McNairy (Monsters) and Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises) star as the two sleazy robbers, along with James Gandolfini as another hitman, plus Richard Jenkins in there, too. I've got a feeling many people are going to go crazy over this trailer, it's awesome. Must watch!

Man With the Iron Fists Trailer

"We'll see who's left standing... and who's on their knees." Universal has unveiled the first bloody, badass, kick ass red band trailer for RZA's new kung fu spaghetti western The Man with the Iron Fists, which he stars in and directs, learning from Tarantino over the years. This looks incredibly big and badass, I'm impressed, I've got really high hopes for it now. The cast includes Russell Crowe, Cung Le, Lucy Liu, Jamie Chung, Rick Yune, David Bautista, with appearances from Grace Huang, Pam Grier, Gordon Liu and many more. This looks awesome, you've got to see what RZA has cooked up here. Let the battle begin!

Must Watch: New Action-Packed US Trailer for Rian Johnson's 'Looper'

Közzétette biropp, 2012-06-29 15:05

Looper

"Why don't you just do what old men do, and die." We got a glimpse at the new UK trailer for Rian Johnson's sci-fi film Looper yesterday, and today we get a bit of a remix of that trailer with an all new US take on presenting the story. There's some great new stuff with Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and I have to say, it's nothing short of impressive. In fact, Gordon-Levitt seems to be doing an amazing job of becoming a young Bruce Willis without doing a cheesy impression of him. Plus, there's plenty of great sci-fi action, and it looks like Emily Blunt has some sort of mind powers or something? Watch it below!

Must Watch: First Full Trailer for 'Dredd' with Karl Urban Released

Dredd Trailer

"Judgement time!" Lionsgate has finally unveiled the first kick ass trailer for Dredd, the new 2012 take on 2000 AD comic book character Judge Dredd, played by Kiwi actor Karl Urban in this one. He takes on the hardened criminals of Mega City with guns, guns and more guns, and it looks totally badass. The cast includes Olivia Thirlby as Judge Cassandra Anderson, and Lena Headey as Madeline 'Ma-Ma' Madrigal. This is a spectacular trailer, showing us how fantastic this sci-fi actioner might be. I even just heard some outstanding buzz from an early test screening last night, and it sounds like this is as good as it looks. Enjoy!

Must Watch: Liam Neeson in Kick Ass 'Taken 2' International Trailer

Közzétette biropcs, 2012-06-21 20:32

Taken 2

"He slaughtered our men, our brothers, our sons. We'll find him. We will have our revenge." Just last month we finally got our first official look at Taken 2, the sequel to the surprise action thriller hit starring Liam Neeson, and now the time has come to see retired CIA operative Bryan Mills in action as an international trailer for the flick has just surfaced. While there's a half-ass attempt to replicate the thrill of the cell phone scene from the first film between Neeson and his daughter (Maggie Grace), the trailer still packs a lot of punch, and should be a great treat for fans this fall with plenty of gunfire and snapped necks.

Watch: Second 'Ice Age: Continental Drift' Trailer with Peter Dinklage

Közzétette biropp, 2012-06-08 08:14

Ice Age: Continental Drift

As a big fan of John Leguizamo's work in the past, it's a little disappointing that the only thing keeping his career from falling into oblivion is the continuance of the Ice Age franchise. However, I have to say that his toothy character Sid the Sloth is certainly one of the better parts of the newest trailer for Ice Age: Continental Drift, the fourth film in the animated film series. Plus, it's a big help that we also get to see what kind of villains we're dealing with and that they're a rag tag team of animal pirates led by a prehistoric orangutan voiced by none other than "Game of Thrones" favorite Peter Dinklage. Second trailer below!

Watch: First Wonderful Trailer for Disney's 'Wreck-It Ralph' Revealed

Közzétette biropcs, 2012-06-07 08:02

Wreck-It Ralph Trailer

"Ralph - you are bad guy, but this does not mean you are bad guy." Disney has unveiled the first official trailer via MSN for animated movie Wreck-It Ralph, featuring the voice of John C. Reilly as Wreck-It Ralph, the bad guy of video game Fix-It Felix Jr. This wonderful trailer features a great opener and intro to Ralph and the entire world this is set in, and gives you a little taste of the story. There are tons of great video game characters hidden within, like Bowser and Zangief and Q-Bert and many more. This honestly looks like a great animated classic in the making, enjoy your very first look at it. "Ralph - you're game jumping?"

Plenty of Jokes and Explosions in New TV Spot for 'The Expendables 2'

Közzétette biropp, 2012-06-01 08:20

The Expendables 2

"You're terminated." Ah, yes, it's been awhile since we had some meta jokes referencing the previous films of Arnold Schwarzenegger from a film in which he himself is starring. There's like plenty more in store when The Expendables 2 hits theaters later this summer, but for now you're going to have to settle for a couple new ones in this one-minute TV spot with plenty of action, and a rundown of all the veteran action stars in this film (and a couple younger ones too) in case you forgot that Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Schwarzenegger were teaming up for the first time to take down Jean Claude Van Damme.
